So yesterday i decided to get out since i was sick for a span of about a week yea! Weekly i get emails from SPC since i signed up & got the BMO card , it has it's perks but not  all locations of a store will take the discount only flaw i find. Anyhow this weeks was a discount was one for Victoria Secret PINK am fond of their line but i hadn't got the chance till now to actually purchase & own something from their brand since not to be rude but their kind've pricey. So luckily this gave me the perfect chance to take on that oppurtunity ; the discount was 20% off regualr priced merchandise & 5 panties for $25.50 plus two free and conviently i desperately needed to go lingerie shopping , long time since i was a fresh feeling too. By noon as orginally planned my bestie & I met up at mall i rather hate since it' just too much turning & too busy but sometimes u gotta settle so we manuvered our way through what seemed like a stampede of people to the store & weren't greeted but told as soon as we reached the display told that the top rack was size medium undies. One question , if most people are size small and it comes first wouldn't it make more sense to put it on top? {personal moment} excited my friend held my access stuff while i rumaged through drawers finding those particular designs that would suit me. Personally i go for boyshorts , hipsters & bikini styled BIKINI like along with the recent news of push up bra's open from the front amazing how far we come in fashion. So even though we weren't greeted at the beginning the girl was nice enough to give us a bag to put them in , we continued counting and giggling at the words printed on the material to the wild prints , childish doodles &  bright neon eccentric colours at which i picked up a salmon coloured one & ou la la'ed but my friend jst took it from my hand & simply said NO :P. I came to the conclusion that the "Kiss This" was gunna be part of my collection , lmao @ the wild in bed one i also realized that they started doin this to just let the undergarments talk for themselves when partners got in bed , shh no words need to be said jks or of course one night stands. In the midst of it all i felt hot thought i wore too much layers & a little weird havin bf's being around while i searched around & almost couldn't find that perfect leopard one. I even let my bestie get one after all i was getting the benefit of 2 for free & one for my mum's. Headed to the cash & the gurl literally took her time to ring my chosen items in & asked for student ID for my spc honestly do i look 20 -.-? finally she ripped off my coupon & neatly packaged the undies in a cute little enviromental friendly bag. With a sigh of relief i felt glad spending my money not usual here i do , in U.S the shopping is way more enjoyable i dk i rather give them my mulla but anyways it was a successful day got one like a boy's brief too n of course a lace ended up hanging w. my biff table n chairs just limin & chattin till almost close till we said our goodbyes and headed off to our seperate destinations. 

My tip ; take advantage of the discounts & any freebies u can get i am a wise spender every now & then induldge without looking at the tag but take into account the quality as well ;)

So this weekend am attending this event called "Winterlicious" w. a few of my aunts , sister & mom. In summary bascially it's where specific restaurants downtown have lunch & dinner 3 course meal entres , prices ranging from $20 to $25 & some of the names of the dishes am unfamilar with due to their fancyness so i had to google them just to get an idea of what i would be interested in trying. But what i was most concerned about was what i was going to wear to these places ; i had to pick to seperate different outfits & usually am perfectly fine doin this kind of stuff that is why i have confidence making it into the fashion industry. But for some reason or i guess i hit an obstacle due to i've never been to such an event ; here i was with a dilehma. For a few days i tried to put stuff together from home but i knew it was time to go out & find something new. I was in search of either a dress or a dressy top. When i went to check out Winners while going through the racks i came apon this lovely cheetah print blouse , u know when an item just grabs your attention & you feel the need that u must own it well that was moment. So that's when i noticed how much prints are in this time around especially when i went to the mall today with two of my friends. It is pastel coloured & the best thing bout it , can be a blouse or dress but technically it's a tunic great with tights & ballet flats. However i was unsure which way i would want to wear it. Luckily my mom had a black mini skirt i could put it with but it was slightly big surprisingly even given the fact we share the same size sometimes :S. Probably cuz i lost weight when i got mono & not being to the gym in over 2 weeks ANYWAYS getting back i really wanted to find the perfect looks for both restaurants , one was pish posh the other non chalant. Yet i felt incomplete, decided to make a brief trip to the mall as much as i dislike shopping at this particular shopping centre i live near & in general Canada as things are so overprized. But i just go my spc card why not put it to use? tagging along we're my bestie & her sis as i would need their fashion oppinon as i tried on couple of dresses, flashy tops, jean or skirts. The most i gathered however nothing really caught my eye , this one dress was grey sweater sleeve like gorg but it was bit adultish for moi , then there was a floral print one zipper was missing ...how convienent during a sale -__-'. Lastly my option came to a black gold beaded mini skirt it was $16 bit pricey to my preferance but i wanted somethin & much to my expectance in other stores came down to nothin else. Other dresses we're just plain poor material  - disapointment. I don't know if i just wasn't my lucky day but am certain that the U.S has better to offer. By the time i got home it just somehow all came to me , i tried on the skirt w. this embellished white top i had & as seen before on a mankin in a store i thrw on a red drapped cardigan & a belt over & there before my eyes was one of my outfits for the weekend. I embodied a sexy yet classy sophsticated look & i was quite pleased that it took some time but it was set. Now on the bottom course i would have to wear some pantihoes given the harsh cold conditions i live in & my grey booties from charlotte russe ah xD. The only thing jewelery might not because the outfits prettty glamed already sometimes i don't think jewlery is a must if u already wearing an accesory. Now just for the blouse , well i will probably fit it with black jeggings & teal flats wish pumps like steve madden i adore (L) but $90 yikes not best time for me to splurge when my money's goin in different directions must stop & save too. Can't forget a cardigan & maybe some white pearls to give it a special touch. For my hair probably leave it loose or somekind of updo. Either way think am good to go , slowly i can say am adding unique pieces to my wardrobe mostly from thrift stores not embarassed to say but u can get reasonable priced mint condition too if u spend ur time & look carefully. Looking forward to this weekend , excuse to dress up & indulge in some fine dine food yeye new experience ;D

I'd have to say that fall n winter seem to offer some of the best styles since slouchy & comfortable is what these two season remind me of. There is of course alot of legwear as everyone wants to keep them self warm from the cold winds as well as certain fabrics like fur which is very popular but controversal. Pants, tights , skinny jeans , to the newest jeggings (  denim look but have a softer texture ) don't get confused with denim leggings which r leggings , full leg not halfway like tights. The most common look you can see these days is sweater dresses & pantihoes with knee high boots but pretty much any type of boot or booties. Why? i would say because they come in a variety of colours and of course patterns but mostly due to the fact that his type of look is for females of all age n it just fits this time of the year. Somethin you can wear to work or a christmas party , so it's also versatile for all occasion. Moving into colours ; tan , caramel , brown , purple , black , grey , cream , orange , to burgundy & navy blues are some of the hues that go along with these seasons as in my oppion to match the trees , natural atmosphere around us because when you think about it that is what we are doing though we rarely notice it. The idea to blend in , so neutrals are essential for the laid back trends from the runway to the boutiques and lastly to the eye of the shoppers. When it comes to accessories ; chunky cardigans , patterned scarves , belts , beaded jewlery , suede bags just basic statement pieces are the go- to's to have in the wardrobe personally for me as they can be used for summer & fall as well. Am most impressed with all the different prints i see , i think that's what makes these season's so unique the dramatic e.g leather tights & motorcycle jackets , feminine in tunics , ruffles in blouses , florals in dresses , zipper practically all over from shoes , tops , dresses , brocade , ethnic , chains n studs , metallic in clutches , animal leopard & zebra , but i'd have to say plaid & sequin are the top of the list for this one. Sequins because of the special occasions around this time , xmas parties to new year bashes just make you stand out & shine. Plaid n stripes because it suits anyone of any colour & can be in almost anything when it comes to fashion.  Bf blazers have become the most must have's in the closet as they can vary too tailored to high shoulders n can go with a graphic tank n jeans to a high waisted pants n t-shirt for e.g. The military style is my choice for look of the year as the buttons are just the key symbol like no other especially since they give women this empowering view. Lastly fuller skirts & backless dresses add to the newest collection by showcasing women in a very girly yet sexy mysterious way. 

I got the urge to share since i went to the mall this past weekend with my best friend to assist her in shopping for new clothes while at the same time handing out resumes. As i have a strong passion for fashion that i am hoping to get a job in the retail department as i aspire to be a buyer, merchandiser , personal shopper to stylist maybe i could just do a bit of each. The truth is i didn't  i care much about the way dressed till i was in gr.6 which also happened to be the first time i wore jeans, from there i payed mor attention to how i did , now am obsessed with the site shopstyle to experimenting with different styles. I mean if i want to expand my knowledge in the world of fashion i need to be familiar with every aspect don't you think? . Therefore i'd say my look is versatile but am classy not bout showing to much skin , i like all colours expect for orangch e, green or yellow which are least in my wardrobe. Also i really don't follow magazines when it comes to my personal style but i pay attention to the latest trends in season because that's one of the tasks i would be taken care of in the futute. However i do admire trendsetters such as Lauren Conrad, Rachel Bilson to Kim Kardashian as much as i dislike her as a person though. On often i go shopping once a month , i know not very often at all but i've come to learn how to mix and match old and new so i can last with a week's worth of clothes overall am reasonable shopper like $40 for jeans too much , 2 for $20 or $30 more reasonable & t-shirts should be $5, long sleeve shirts $10 , $15 for hoodies. One of my best skills would be putting outfits together , ever since someone got a sketchbook for my birthday i got into sketching them especially for school which then i used to get ready faster in the morning as i have a better eye for what looks good together. Therefore i always make sure i am matching before i leave to go out. Cardigans, mule slingbacks, over sized hoodies  , leggings/tights , charm bracelets, messenger bags are my favorites. Essentials that everyone i think should have are a bf blazer, good pair of jeans , a banded skirt , a basic tee for example but dresses i collect the most because they can fit any occasion. Now in Fall 2010 such things as neutrals , various colour cardigans ( white , grey , oatmeal , green , purple ) , cargo pants , jeggings , cozy hoodies , zippers , military , beaded to embellished , wools n knits , bombers , leather , sequins , floral , lace, studded , chains , animal print , dolman's which i have recently become introduced to sweaters which have flowing sleeves. My go to's or shall i say fashion tips to spice up your look is to pay special attention to your eye colour, again explore diff styles , mix and match patterns but do it wisely , when wearing dark colours like black where a bright shirt or accesory for e.g u can put yellow,black and white together, try new palettes that you wouldn't normally as long they don't clash with your skin/eye colour & lastly  have a  budget oe keep track on how much you splurge on clothes. What i think stores need to really improve on is tending to the customers in the dressing room like some are too snobby and couldn't be bothered to tell them whether or not something looks good on them , the quality of their clothing like if ur goin to sell shit tht rips might as well sell it at china's price , their return policy should really change i hate how if u return something it has to be lower then the price the item was to most importantly concept there needs to be some type of angle the store is going for unless of course their just selling a brand name. I have a good idea of trends and what colours n patterns go good together yes i can admit am obsessed. TOO BE CONTINUED...
